Heavy calcium carbonate is made from high-quality limestone or other stones and processed into a white powder by a lime mill. Its main component is CaCO3. Heavy calcium carbonate has the characteristics of high whiteness, good purity, soft hue and stable chemical composition.
There are two production processes for heavy calcium carbonate:
1. Dry production process: firstly select calcite, limestone, chalk, shells, etc. from the quarry to remove the gangue; then crush the limestone with a crusher, and then use Raymond mill (pendulum) Grinding and pulverizing to obtain fine limestone powder, and finally classifying the grinding powder by a classifier, and the powder meeting the particle size requirement is packaged into the product as a product, otherwise it is returned to the milling machine for re-grinding.
2. Wet production process: firstly, the dry fine powder is suspended in a mill and further pulverized, and after dehydration and drying, ultra-fine heavy calcium carbonate is obtained.
